The Green Man Inn

The Green Man is a 15th century country inn situated in the centre of the peaceful village of Fownhope dating back from the first year of the reign of Henry VII AD 1485. Leylandii House was originally built in 1840 as vicarage for local Clehonger Church. It has recently undergone substantial restoration work and is now ready to accept guests in its new role as a bed and breakfast establishment. It is located in the village of Old Clehonger 3 miles from Hereford and surrounded by beautiful open countryside. There are golfing and fishing amenities nearby and plenty of public footpaths to explore. The rooms are well appointed comfortable and clean and with the emphasis on your stay an informal relaxed atmosphere.3 course Evening Meals are available at 15 per head but must be ordered on the day before 5pm as we buy in to individual order. Meals are served anytime up until 9pm
