Travelling to Kendal from the North or South on the M6 take exit 36 onto the A590 signposted to South Lakes and Kendal. Do not take the left turn to Barrow but continue on the A591 A6 South Kendal. You will pass a BP petrol station on the left take the next left signposted South Kendal A6. Follow this road and Stonecross Manor Hotel is on the left hand side as you climb the hill. If you go over a hill you have gone too far. The hotel car park is at the rear of the building but you may wish to unload your luggage at the front door.
