Resolution Hotel features fabulous views of the abbey sea and harbour located at the centre of Whitby town we are amongst the shops and boutiques so it is easy for you to get out and about. Directions

DIRECTIONS TO THE RESOLUTION HOTEL From the M62 M62 east until you see Jct. 27 signposted M621 and M1 North then as follows From the M1Ml to Jct. 43 signposted for Ml North continue on the Ml Al until you see the sign for the A64. Continue on the A64 then take the A169 Pickering North Yorkshire Moors. Continue on this road over the north Yorkshire moors until you reach Sleights. Continue up the hill to the Junction which is signposted A171 Teeside Whitby 2miles . Turn right and approximately half mile on the A171 you will see the sign West Cliff Sandsend etc. . Turn left and continue on this road for about one and half miles until you reach a roundabout. Do not turn off this road although there are other signs for the West Cliff . Past Sneaton Castle into Stakesby Road Take the 2nd exit on this roundabout and there is a signpost saying St. John's Ambulance Whitby back St. Hilda terrace .Follow this road to the junction and you have to turn right the hotel entrance is immediately on left hand side. From the A1 Continue north on the Al until you see the sign for A64 York and then follow the instructions from the A64 as above. From the Coast Road A171 from Scarborough to Whitby.Follow the coast road along the A171 to Whitby until you reach the traffic lights. Go straight through the lights down the hill to the roundabout.Take a left hand turn at the roundabout do not turn sharp left it is a no through road up Chubb Hill Road to another roundabout take the third exit back St. Hilda s Terrace to the bottom and you have to turn right the hotel entrance is immediately on the left.
