This elegant Edwardian home offers Bed and Breakfast accommodation.The guest house is a stunning detached Edwardian 'gentleman's residence' with woodland to the front and back. Windermere Bowness are ideal villages in which to base your short break or holiday as they are in the heart of this breathtaking area. Hilton House has truly outstanding architectural features woodwork stained glass windows is stylishly decorated throughout with interesting pictures books and furniture. All bedrooms are ensuite. 3 rooms are on the ground floor. 3 rooms have stunning handcarved four poster beds and 2 have kingsize four poster beds. There is car parking for 10 cars at the rear of the house. The guest house is 5 minutes' walk to the charming village of Windermere and 10 minutes' walk to the lake and the lively little town of Bowness which nestles on its shore with a variety of interesting shops pubs restaurants and other places of interest such as the Beatrix Potter Exhibition and lake cruises.
