Take junction 36 of M6 north bound Barrow Kendal . Take A591 to Kendal then onto Windermere 8 miles .At Windermere Village turn onto one way system. Travel through village on the Lake Rd to Bowness and the Lake.After 1 2 mile take 1st left Thornbarrow Rd after pedestrian crossing. Thornbank House is blue sign on left.
