No two of the 32 bedrooms are alike creating an individual style and character reflected again in the newly refurbished ground floor areas. The Queensberry Restaurant offers the best of traditional menus using only fresh local produce.The surounding area is well served with activities ranging from Golf Ice Skating fishing and designer outlet shopping at nearby Gretna. Lockerbie Manor is located close to the world famous Gretna Green. At the heart of Southern Scotland the hotel is also within easy travelling distance of the town of Dumfries. Dumfries was once the home of the world famous poet and songwriter Robert Burns who wrote Auld Lang Syne the popular song sung around the world at New Year. Dumfries also has a swimming pool and ice rink. There are a number of Golf Courses within easy reach of the hotel. Other outdoor pursuits include shooting and angling. The Caerlaverock Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre is a hive of activity all year round with thousands of Geese migrating there in Autumn and Winter from the High Arctic Iceland and Greenland. The Devil's Porridge is an exhibition telling the story of a munitions factory in the first world war that employed 30 000 women and men from all over the world.

Excellent local eating and many famous and historical attractions within close proximity. ACCESSIBILITY we would recommend Heather and Fern as being accessible for walking disabled whilst Bluebell would be the most accessible for wheelchair users.
