Cambrian Guest House

Cambrian House is a Grade 2 listed building situated at the heart of Llangollen. Built in 1856 as a Coaching Inn when the A5 was constructed by Thomas Telford. The house has 8 letting rooms Double Four Posters Twins Singles and Family rooms are available.The House is No Smoking throughout We are also Licenced and provide Evening meals to order.We are ideally situated as a base for touring North Wales with many walks on hand plus you can Fish Play Golf go White Water Rafting Horse Riding and many more activites are available nearby.We are also ideally equiped for the One Nighter just passing through on they way to Ireland or any part of North Wales. Or came and stay for the Weekend. We have plenty of Local History to Offer with Dinas Bran Castle and Valle Crucis Abbey or if you prefer ride on the Llangollen Railway.

The Chainbridge Hotel

The Chainbridge is sited in a unique position between the spectacular River Dee with it's racing white water and leaping salmon and the Llangollen canal that begins it's life just a short walk away at the Horseshoe Falls.The hotel stands in complete isolation yet is just two miles from Llangollen which you can reach via the towpath or by car horse drawn canal boat or steam train.As a family owned hotel we pride ourselves on the freshness and quality of our food. Ty'n-y-Wern Hotel

Set in the beautiful Vale of Llangollen with uninterrupted views across the valley. The ancient ruins of Castell Dinas Bran are high up on the hillside opposite the hotel. The building dates back to 1730 when it was built and owned by Ty'n Dwr Hall and used as a tied farm cottage and ten acre small holding by the workers on the estate. Its use exclusively as a farm house continued until 1904 when with its proximity to the ancient London to Holyhead thoroughfare it began to offer travellers rest and guest house facilities. Over the next 70 years its popularity and number of guests increased so that in 1974 farm work finally ceased and the 'House in the Meadow' became the fully licensed Ty'n y Wern Hotel.The traveller en route to destinations further into North Wales or touring this beautiful area may experience the restful charm of the old farm house combined with the highest standards of modern comfort. All modernisation has been completed with taste and sympathetic regard to the character and atmosphere of the old building to give each guest the best of both worlds.We have three single bedrooms three twin bedrooms and six double bedrooms all of which are tastefully decorated and equipped to the same high standard having fully en suite bathrooms with bath and or shower. All have remote control colour television with tele text and video recorder clock alarm radio with CD player direct dial telephone and tea coffee making facilities. All rooms have individually controlled central heating radiators. Ironing facilities are available. One double room and one twin room are on the ground floor the double meets category 1 requirements for disabled access and facilities whilst the twin meets category 3.Breakfast is served daily from 8.00am to 9.30am and the restaurant is open for evening meals Tuesday to Saturday 7.00pm to 9.00pm and Sunday lunchtime. The restaurant is open to both residents and non residents. Adjacent to the restaurant is the lounge bar a very comfortable room where you can relax and enjoy the view across the valley with Castell Dinas Bran high up on the hillside opposite the Hotel.
